you can now sign into your account on up to four devices at the same time on WhatsApp

About a year ago it became known that the developers of WhatsApp plan to integrate the “Companion” mode into the messenger, which will allow you to use one account on different devices. Now it became known that the mentioned mode appeared in the beta version of WhatsApp 2.23.8.2 for devices based on Android.

The “Companion” mode makes it possible to use one WhatsApp account on different devices running the same operating system. This can be useful for people who use several smartphones or a tablet computer in addition to the main smartphone to interact with the service. Up to four devices can be connected to just one account.

Thanks to the “Companion” mode, the user can easily use one account on different devices. All user chats will be automatically synchronized between connected devices. Since the mentioned innovation is currently only available in the beta version of WhatsApp, it is difficult to say when the “Companion” mode can become publicly available. It is also unknown when the developers plan to launch a similar feature in the version of the application for iOS devices.
