The head of NVIDIA is convinced that AI will awaken the programmer in every person

Even following the results of the quarterly reporting conference, it became clear that NVIDIA management expects in the very near future to significantly increase the company’s revenues from the sale of components for artificial intelligence systems. At the opening of Computex 2023, the head of the company said that these technologies can turn literally anyone into a software developer.

“We have reached a tipping point in the new era of computing. Each of us is now a programmer. You just need to say something to the computer,” explained NVIDIA founder Jensen Huang (Jensen Huang) the simplicity of the approach to setting problems in programming using generative artificial intelligence systems. According to him, the beginning of a new era in the computing segment is characterized by the emergence of opportunities that were not previously available to mankind. From this point of view, a new level of development of artificial intelligence clearly indicates the beginning of a new era.

As the permanent CEO of NVIDIA added, the threshold for entering the profession of a software developer is now incredibly low, and the so-called “digital inequality” can finally be forgotten. The ease of use of appropriate technologies determines the high pace of market development. Artificial intelligence, according to the head of NVIDIA, in one way or another will transform all sectors of the economy. Jensen Huang also compared AI to “an incredible computer that is very easy to program.” He attributed this field of activity to goods and services, and therefore, taking into account the importance of the approach to ensuring safety in the use of AI, he recognized the need for state regulation in this market segment. The most promising areas of application of AI outside the technical sphere, he called the search for new drugs and the study of climate change on the planet.
