According to the assumption of the Reddit user, the failure occurred due to the AirProtection security utility, and not at all in connection with the firmware of the device. The mentioned program plays an important role in the network security of routers. The utility is able to block access to malicious virtual platforms without human intervention. The program has an IPS intrusion prevention scanner. Asus stressed that the operation of the router can be adjusted by rebooting it in manual mode. If this does not solve the problem, then you will have to reset the settings to factory settings. Then you will need to download and install the configuration file again.
